My name is Yan Lin. I like playing the piano, reading and sleeping.
There are a few things about myself. I am somewhat introverted and shy compared to the rest of my classmates, however I was a facilitator for orientation, and because i was so quiet in real life, some of my friends were actually surprised that I had become a facilitator for orientation, especially those who did not make it through the interview. I am actually a rather old-fashioned guy in a sense that the things that I like are before my time. To give you an example, I enjoy listening to Mozart.
My CCA is Chinese Orchestra. To be honest, it was not my first choice, and I had no intention of joining Chinese Orchestra before that. My first choice was Wushu, however, I was posted to Chinese Orchestra. Initially, I was kinda upset that I did not get into the CCA that I wanted. However, as time went by, I started to like my CCA even more. After all, I am in CO, whether I want it or not, I may as well make use of it to learn some new skills.
I have been to a number of countries, the country that left a deep impression on me was new zealand. The mountains, lakes and all the scenery in general left me spellbounded.
I like daydreaming, as it allows me to remove myself from reality, in a sense. I also like sleeping, as it also allows people to temporarily forget their frustrations.
Things that I fear include heights, and darkness.
So... cya! Until next time!!
